The Rom supplied on mine has the option to boot into recovery at Settings>>Backup & Reset>>System Upgrade>>Recovery Mode Selecting this option DOES boot into recovery. Solved wifi Problem by opening the case and unadhere the battery and changed its Position. I have read on an Onda V972 Forum ( that they unadhere some parts of the Wifi antenna and use Nova Launcher to solve this problems. My Experience is that it will run faster if you delete the chinese aps with titanium Backup ( you need root permissions and dont forget to backup).
