I Year - B.A. Indian History & Culture: Telugu Medium (Osmania University), as indicated in the title, is written in Telugu and is meant as a source of learning and reference for the undergraduate students of Osmania university. The focus is particularly on higher education. More than 400 titles, including translations, popular titles under ‘Janaranjaka grandhamala,’ monographs, dictionaries, textbooks and question banks and some rare translations from Sanskrit to Telugu are on sale. The complete works of Gurajada, running into more than 900 pages, is available at a mere Rs.360. There is an effort to introduce to the younger generation with an attractive book ‘Balala Bommala Gurajada’ with English translation also.

The 64-page book costs Rs.105. Some of the books on history, politics and literature are tailor-made for those taking competitive examinations. Some seminal works are available in translation. They include Panini’s descriptive grammar ‘Ashtadhyayi,’ ‘Vyarkaraniyam’ of Bhartruhari and a book of mathematics of 9th century mathematician Mahaviracharyulu. Andhra University Registrar V.
