You can subscribe to this list. I'm searching for people who are familiar with web-programming (HTML and/= or CGI with Perl) who'd like to join me for creating a Developer site. Actua= lly I've created most of it and I need some people who help me to maintain it and judge it (I'm never sure if I'm taking the right way). This site will not be targeted for Allegro users only, thats just a small part of it (I'= m asking on this list because there seem to be only friendly and productive people on this list, compared to some newsgroups). Lagu ungu jika itu yg terbaik untukmu lyrics. It is targeted for all kinds of programmers and developers.

I have a some nice features in place which only need to be extended. The largest part of the site is already automated and new pages are easy = to add due to some Perl scripts I created. There's already a member area whi= ch will be extended as soon as the site goes online. I'm not so sure about t= he name, but I got an idea or two. If you're interested, please feel free to mail me.

Can you tell me what is wrong with the following code? It would help to know what error message or bad symptoms you're experiencing. There's only one real omission I can see in your code though.

> food_bitmap = load_tga('food.tga', pal); // food.tga is 24bit 16x16 Note that `load_bitmap' can work out that a file ending in `.tga' needs to be loaded using `load_tga' -- this isn't a bug though, I'm just mentioning it. After loading the bitmap, though, you should check that it's not NULL -- if it is, there was a problem loading it and you can probably find out what the problem was by looking at `allegro_error'. For `load_bitmap' and friends, it's most likely to be a file accessing error. If you choose to check `allegro_error', you should clear it before calling the function which might set it.

In UTF8 mode, or in non-WIPs, it's sufficient to write 'allegro_error[0] = ' 0'. If you don't do this, and the failing routine doesn't actually update `allegro_error', you could get a leftover string from a previous function. Download harry potter and the goblet of fire in hindi 480p mkv. It's like `errno' -- you should zero it before doing a risky function if you intend to use it later on. The DOS version never used to do this. It is possible in most operating systems to find out what the current palette is, but I'm not sure that Allegro loads that palette into its internal tables (so something like fade_out won't necessarily work).

Before you do anything interesting you ought to set your own palette. > So how about a new function clear_to_mask(bmp)? Is `bitmap_mask_color' too much typing?:) If you need to use this a lot you can make a define or maybe-inline function to do it for you. > > - If I vanish for whatever reason, it makes it easy for someone else to > take > > over.

You can download the latest WIP, unzip it, and have an exact > copy > > of the same stuff that I was working with the day before. > > Happened to me. He wasn't talking about backups.:) When he left York University, he didn't have internet access and at around the same time a new gcc came out which produced millions of warnings/errors when compiling Allegro. Shawn came back in the end, but if he'd been gone for longer somebody would have had to take over (somebody had already uploaded a fixed version for him, in any case). It's important that the distribution generation procedure is as simple and automated as possible, so that the whole thing doesn't depend upon a particular person being around.
