Posted in Page 1 of 2 1 Ok i recently downloaded a avi file in order to burn the file i opened the file with video inspector to make sure that i had all of the appropriate codecs. Of course i had the video but i didnt have the audio. Video Inspector says i require the ATSC/A-52 Dolby AC3 codec. However i searched for it and even read your forums on this website to find out where i could get it. I followed the website listed and downloaded the codec from moonlight i believe. When i installed it it required a serial number. Even though i downloaded it from freecodecs.com.

Further, it said the missing codec was ac3 (0x2000) Dolby Laboritories Ltd. Then I managed to find this under a Google search, but again the links went to dead sites. I'm a little computer illerate when we get to this level, so can someone PLEASE give me a link to this codec, I have been messing with this all day and its driving me mad!! Please help i would really like to install and find this codec.
